Ryan and I recently discovered that the barcodes on the advance ticket order form can be easily generated and are scrambling to quickly implement the functionality to add that to the final schedule view.
What does that mean for you? Potentially it means that you can skip the official booklet and just present your printed tiffr schedule to TIFF. You’d still have to do the green/yellow highlighting and indicate the number of tickets, but this would save you (and the TIFF volunteers) the time it takes to flip through that book many times double and triple checking that you’ve filled everything out correctly.
For this to be a viable system, we’ll have to clear it with TIFF first because we don’t want you showing up with your printouts from tiffr.com and being turned away. We’ll work toward making that happen and if you or someone you know works for TIFF, get them in touch with us and we can discuss it.
