After a few months of working evenings and weekends, learning all the intricate details of Ruby on Rails, we are proud to announce the official launch of tiffr.com, alpha release.
tiffr aims to be a simple solution to shortlisting and scheduling your films for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). We’ve designed it to be a companion to the official TIFF website, allowing you to shortlist films on tiffr while browsing the curated film info provided by TIFF programmers, via our bookmarklet.
Once you’ve gone through all the films and picked the ones you’re interested in, you can log in to tiffr.com, reorder your list as you please and then select the screenings that suit your lifestyle, all plotted out on an easy to navigate timeline.
More info can be found at http://tiffr.com/howitworks
We’re currently using the film schedule from TIFF08 so that you can get a feel for how it works and we’ll transition over to the 2009 schedule once it’s published by TIFF.
Check it out and let us know what you think!
